figuring out how i want to paint my steering wheel. Since it is the easiest out of all the interior parts to paint and i still havent figured out if I cant paint the door panels and dash trim from the inside. I dont want to paint them from the outside.

So im pretty set on the trim for the steering wheel, but dont know about the bowtie.

And I dont know if I want to do flat black, or a dark gray to sort of match the plastic yet. I want everything on the steering wheel to have a matte finish

Just read through your entire build thread. You have an awesome car. I will be putting quad exhaust on my car pretty soon. I love the way it looks on your car and you're right 4" tips look really good.

Keep up the modding.

Custom Crystal red caliper paint and silver brembo decals have shipped, and my CRT Led sidemarkers are supposed to be here before friday so I will get to install and paint all of it this weekend.

Absolutely no complaints, holding up just like vinyl on the hood, or vinyl decals on the calipers would.

None of it is peeling up, as long as you prep well its good. I think your wheels are even easier, dont they have a flat spot on the edge to put it on? The stock RS rims have a rounded edge.

the edge is flat but there is a "rib" where the spoke ends

Hmm, Vinyl will stick to pretty much anything, just want to make sure you arent forcing it to lay over some kind of strange bumb that runs paralell or slightly off paralell. If its perpendiculaur you know itll always be good.

Anyway, its like 12$ or something. And since its not that wide of a strip, its easy to manipulate

Also got my sidemarkers on, and used my leftover caliper paint on all my underhood caps, dipstick, key fob.

Unfortunately, Im an accountant. I used my 8 hours of free time last week to work on my car. I basically have like 3/4's of sunday off from now until Apr. 15th. Outside of that, im working every day (and night).

Haha, thanks man. Since "classy" seems to be the most common compliment/adjective I get, I tried to add it to the title of my build thread, but it doesnt show up everywhere, only on the first post. Maybe the mods have control over that.
