To clean you can always go back over it with black paint. It will be very subtle and not noticeable in black.

I'm going to have to do this on my wheels. Especially since my calipers are red now too.

Hey thanks. It is Paint. I used one of these. I simply outlined the edges of each letter. Keep some Q-Tips, paper towels and some, paint thinner,(Mineral Spirits or Acetone) nearby in case you slip or drip. You can use pinstripe tape to help keep your outlines uniform. (I didn't, but it would have made things much easier).

Looks tough to do. Pinstripe tape looks tough to apply and if you do it free hand, seems tough to do nicely.

Did you take the wheel off when painting it. Any tips.

Thanks
Jim

I did mine last year....Here is the link, http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=255977

Funny some of the comments of the folks that didn't like them...but they for those that did this mod, they look great.

I got home and checked my wheels...You weren't kidding, there is no outline to follow and the edges are thin!

Did you ever try this on yours?

No I have not done it. I quess if I was sure that I liked it I would figure a way. It is probably much easier with wheel off.

Not convinced I would like a real contrasting color. If I did do it it would be a medium gray so that it would be visible but not in your face.
