Where is everyone hooking up for power for the windscreen? I don't like the battery idea. I would like to have it hard wired.

Most customers are doing this or wiring it in on a switch. I am not an electrical expert so I can't tell you exact how though.

I would think you could tap into the ambient lighting source if you have the lighted door panels, then it could be dimmed with the rest of the interior lighting if you wish.

The power runs through the lower left kick panel below the dash.

Got my windscreen installed today.Looks Great.I never could get the 2 bolts tight, tried all the tips.I found one post and went with it.Remove the 2 side and center covers[very easy, they pop right off].Replace the 2 bolts with 1/4x1 1/4 bolts with a flat washer under the bolt head [to simulate the washer on the original] then put a lock washer with the nut on the inside. The 1 1/4 bolt is a bit longer than the original and gives you plenty of room to slide the brackets in.It tightened right up and i would have saved alot of time if i had done this to begin with.Wired mine to the console outlet.
