Can BNR or Vince help out?

I cant and will not go into details about the incident...

well i got into a car accident and well the car is total lost. my question is. well i cant really save many of the aftermarket parts but the tune im sure? since teh car is gonna be made into a block of metal.

is it possible for me to resell the tune to someone around here locally or something similar?

No, you can't sell the tune. At best, you can sell the cable if you have one.

i understand its married to my vin but lets say its sold to another camaro cant vince just switch the vins out..

imo if it cant thats just stupid from trifecta. thats like selling a hand held tuner and not being able to resell it . i remember hearing something about it

Nope. No, the cable is like the hand held tuner, still have to buy the specific tune for your car. It's like selling an hp tuners suite, you can sell the program but still have to buy the specific tune. Same thing here, you're selling the cable but you still can't sell the specific tune.

Just think about it, if you are able to just put the tune into another car by switching VINs, Vince is doing work for free since he still has to make sure the tune is right for the other car and make any changes to it. He's doing all of that and getting nothing out of it basically.

The cables the most expensive part anyway, if I remember correctly. Sorry about your luck.

if you could just give it out to anyone, they would have made one sale, and 50 people would have the tune. This isnt stupid at all.

Not really lol, without the cable you can't get your car tuned so it isn't worthless.
