ZL1 Boost Gauge, anyone try it yet?
anyone look into , or try, putting this boost guage in? i like it more then the SLP one, since its pretty much a factory guage in a factory location .

its one of those "bout that much" type gauges. you wouldn't know if you were slipping on boost because you couldn't see the difference in 10psi and 12 psi.

i like it just for the looks, not so much the being accurate. on a stock pulley i dont need it to be accurate. just a nice guage to have in the car instead of my trans temp on a manual trans car .

thought about it before I installed the SLP boost gauge...but I agree with the location. It's hard to "zero" in on it while your driving. Love the location of the SLP gauge...plus it still has that factory IMO

I cannot fathom why anyone would want a boost gauge in that location. I have a hard enough time looking 12 inches to the left to see my pillar.
The factory gauge would only be good for passengers IMO.

id fathom its for a factory look, not really for function of reading boost. nobody needs to measure boost on a stock blower set up. just cool having a boost gauge in the car. not everyone likes added guages in the car like A pillar guages and steering column guages

I agree with ASF, plus I love my dual pod A-Piller unit with Boost & AFR gauges

yea a got one from parts at work yesterday so I could see the back , and its electrical connector so it wouldn't work . ahh well, looked nice and clean in the guage cluster. I never had a boost gauge in my gto because I never changed a pulley so don't really need one in the Camaro either
