I just saw the dual mode exhaust at the dealership. On the Corvette looks great, but in the Camaro looks different, I did not like it, I prefer the looks of the single oem style, probably wider will look great. I know that the sound of the dual mode exhaust, should be great, but I did not like the looks. If I chose to go with aftermarket, which axleback exhaust will deliver a similar sound to the dual exhaust and without any drone?

I drove a used SS with a Borla the day before I bought my 1LE with NPP. I definately preferred the NPP, looks and sounds much better... in my opinion. Have to agree with the others too, stock SS exhaust just doesn't compete. You should be able to find an SS with NPP at your dealership, have a listen for yourself.

NPP all the way! I wonder why the OP still has a 2LT still listed as his ride? Couldn't get the NPP so he cancled?

I was sold on the NPP exhaust a couple years ago on my buddies 2010 corvette GS with a Blower/ LT headers and high flow cats...With a switch he can cruise and go "relatively" undetected or open the mufflers and it sounds wicked.

It was a must before I ever decided on anything else on the car.

I have NPP on my 2013 1LE and the Exhaust Commander (same as mild to wild). EC was easy to install. The NPP sounds great whille I am in the car, I push "the button" for the EC and the sound comes alive! I cruised tonight with a fellow camaro owner and at one point walked on it past him. when he caught up, he had this huge smile on his face and was yelling out the window about how incredible my car sounded. lol
Im extremely happy with the NPP and having the ability to change the sound of my exhaust with the EC just adds to the excitment.

The Npp exhaust sounds good, I do like it, but my set up blows it out of the water!! Hands Down!!!
Only thing is kind of want dual tips, but Hey that's easy!!
Go after market, they always sound better then stock options IMO .....

Because I was thinking at the moment of getting a performance exhaust from Borla ATAK.. but I hear a clip from the dual exhaust mode and I love it the sound similar to Z06...

Here is the thing I'm all about performance , looks and sounds... So does the dual exhaust mode add any horsepower to the Camaro at all ? Are tyeybas big and heavy as the ones in the SS.. or am I just better getting the Borla ATAK full catback ?
When I ordered mine I ordered it without the NPP. Reasoning: It didn't make sense to me to ordered a valve controlled exhaust that I will disable as soon as I got it. So I ordered the dual exhaust (ZL1) rear fascia ($112.00 from dealership with $75.00 core charge) and ordered the quad-tip performance exhaust from Corsa. It sounds awesome just as the NPP sounds awesome. That's just the route I took and I am happy with my new exhaust.

Forgot to mention, the Corsa Performance exhaust is a CAT back exhaust. I have a couple youtube videos if that will help you... http://youtu.be/ekS0sNJ80js & http://youtu.be/Rxagd8ZArng I in no way claim to be a videographer so I apologize in advance for the video quality... :-)

My Zl1 has the stock performance exhaust and it's great. I put a mild to wild switch in, pretty easy to install and I love it. It's programmed into my garage door openers so I can turn it on and off when I want. It was always opened until I got the headers with the high flow cats. Now with the M2W switch closed it sounds as good as stock did with the switch open. I love when it's open but it's so loud I can't sneak around anymore. I recommend this set up over the Borla. Some times you want to be able to go under the radar. You'll see what I mean when you start modding your car.

I did the same thing. I couldn't be happier.

Dealer even took the non-Npp fascia back as a core.

Does that fascia come off easy?

It wasn't bad at all. You will need to drill out two rivets also.
