Camaro Winning Continental Challenge at Barber

Looks like the Edwards Camaro just took over first place in the Continental Tire Challenge race on Speed. It's Camaro, BMW, BMW, BMW, Aston and oh,....the best running Boss 302R is running about 12th????

Today's taped coverage is from last weekend's race at Barber's... results below. These drivers are ALL good... best lap differences are marginal. Many of the interviews with different drivers all claim the Porsche and Astons just have too much power/performance advantage over the domestic brands. At least J. Edwards got a podium finish.

It looks like the Camaro won the GT race in the Rolex series as well. And, the number 31 Corvette had a podium finish. Camaros are hot stuff in road course racing.... Where will the Z28 fit into these series when it's in production? The Rum-bum Porsche got lucky when Edwards missed a shift and got by him for the win in the Continental race.
