Awesome!! I was thinking the same thing! No offense to the OP. The world needs functional CDO'ers (notice I used your version). Great thread! Very entertaining and I'll be following to see what the end result is...P.S. stay off euclid ave. LOL

Many times you are better off saying this is the problem and have the tech figure it out and fix it rather than try to diagnose it yourself.

Sometimes the problem is so obvious that a caveman could diagnose it.

This is the approach I usually take however, what happens more times than not is I get the "Unable to duplicate at this time". And since I usually have to pick up my car late in the day when the techs have already gone home I rarely get the opportunity to even try to explain the problem further.

So, they couldn't repro the lifter ticking. And I have to admit I haven't heard it in a while.

since they said they have to actually hear and order to replace under warranty. however he did say if it starts doing again to bring it down as soon as possible so they can hear it and get the issue resolved.

however they did replace my heater blower motor with no charge to me. I would consider the dealership has taken care of me up to my expectations and within the framework that they're allowed to work in.

I feel that I've been treated well and fairly by this dealership and will continue to go back to them for service. The service manager listened to my concerns, was respectful, genuinely cared about me having a good experience there, and did not give me the runaround at all.

Lol. Like I said, not the first time I've reminded someone of Sheldon Cooper.

my brother and I have nicknames that were given to us from our wives.

my brother is Captain Obvious and I am lieutenant literal.
