It's 100% bolt on, so if you are decent with tools and can get the car in the air, it's worth trying yourself. Any shop can do it in 45 minutes or less.

Hello All,

SOLO Performance now has a new and improved website. The site has more comprehensive product specifications, as well as updated pricing. With the rising cost of stainless steel, we have decided to keep our pricing stable. This ensures that we will be able to continue delivering quality products at affordable prices. Visit our site at http://www.solo-performance.com and see all of our products for your Camaro. You can order directly off of our site, or call me direct to order at 516-655-9002 (7 days a week, until midnight EST). Have a great day and thanks for the support

We have not taken video of the 2012 in our shop, but we do have many kits out there already installed on the 2012. Maybe one of those owners can post a video for us I don't think it will make much of a difference...if anything it will make it a bit deeper.

Might have missed it, but if we want to change out the tips, what size is the piping pre-tips?

It is 2.25" piping on this kit. We bump it up because our tips have a 2.5" inlet, but if you're adding new tips to our kit, the inlet size of the pipe on the kit is 2.25". Thanks

Thanks for the support. We really appreciate your interest in our products. The price of stainless steel has increased for us, and we have decided not to raise prices for now and take the hit a bit. Shipping is still free on this kit, so when you are ready, please contact me at 516-655-9002 and we can get one out to you. Have a great day and enjoy going SOLO!

We don't have any group buys currently planned, but that doesn't mean definitely not. We usually only run a group buy on the release of a new product, but sometimes we make an exception if the demand is there. Our pricing is competitive, especially for the technology that goes into the development of the kit. The J pipes are something that we are known for engineering and using to effectively kill drone without affecting performance or tone. Thanks Also, shipping is free to continental US and some parts of Canada. If we decide to have a group buy, I will be sure to post it up on this forum

Hey steve will this exhaust system fit a 2013 camaro with the LFX engine? Im really hoping so because this exhaust sounds amazing IMO. Ive heard flowmaster, corsa, and borla and this exhaust beats out the others. It isnt crazy loud but with an air intake mixed with this exhaust I bet the v6 camaro will sound the way it should.

Gator,
We actually have a kit for the LFX specifically. On our website, it is in the Camaro section. It says convertible, but it fits the coupe as well. We need to update that. It sounds exactly the same, just with slightly different bends for the LFX. Feel free to call me at 516-655-9002.

Steve,

I love the sound of my JBA Axlebacks, but am growing tired of the drone. I'd like something just slightly less aggressive that completely eliminates the 2200-2400 RPM drone, but still more aggressive than stock. I have an LS3/manual, so I realize your Mach X is recommended, but I have serious reservations putting on basically straight pipes without J pipes. Does your Mach XL work on manuals? If not, what is the sound difference between these cat backs and the axle back with j pipes that you guys sell?

Hey Viral,
Sorry I missed this and it took so long for me to respond…Our Mach XL catback kit works on both the manual and automatic. The J pipes in that kit will get rid of any drone you may have. The Mach XL has a single mid muffler that has a true X pipe built inside of it. The axle back is just the rear section with the J pipes, and requires a cut on each side to install. The catback kit bolts on to the stock converter, or anything else that ends in the same place as the stock converter. There is no cutting needed for the catback at all…just 100% bolt on. The axle back is more for a stock or near stock car whose owner just wants some more sound on a budget. Thanks so much and feel free to call me anytime at 516-655-9002.
