Quick exhaust question

Greetings all. Looking for recommendation for axel back exhaust for 2013 ZLI vert. My interest is solely sound. I am not looking for power. I will not be doing headers/tune/Airbox. I did all that on my SS. While the stock exhaust note is fairly good, I would like something with a little more growl. Greatly appreciate any and all input. Best regards, Peter

Have you tried pulling the exhaust fuse?

Since you don't plan on heavily modding your car you should go with Stainless Works exhaust system.

Pull the fuse before you spend $$ on a axel back kit.. You might like it, that's what most do..

Do a muffler delete and keep the cans in case you don't like it.
I love it and can't believe that I waited that long.

with the factory cats in place you have to run a fairly aggresive exhaust to get sound of it.

the stainless works sound great with there headers but I am not sure how it sounds with factory midepipe.

I had borla stingers on my Z06 with factory cats and it sounded wicked. I had a corsa system on it as well that sounded pretty good at WOT but I liked the sound of the stingers better overall.

Mine is in the shop now getting HF cats and QTP cutouts, should be quite a bit louder with the stock cans out back.

Whatever you end up choosing make SURE it's for a Vert.

In the trunk, passenger side about a foot in front of the tail light behind the wall carpet is the fuse box, remove Fuse F8 and you're in business.

Put headers on it, cost is about the same as a cat back, sound is amazing, any power you say you are not interested in is a bonus, and you will probably become interested in it...
