Yeah, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Hasn't the Camaro been one of the highest selling vehicles amongst its peers for the past couple of years? Why change that?

It reminds me of when the NBA decided to change the basketball that one season for like half of the year, for no reason at all. Every star complained relentlessly and it was eventually switched back. There was just no reason to change something that was already perfect.

My God this redesign is horrendous. They killed the look of this car. What a shame... the Z28 could have been incredible, but not with the redesigned front and rear.

Wasn't that reported in the thread from the NY auto show? From some of the guys on site. That's what I'm remembering and was surprised that these mufflers weren't painted. Maybe just the SS?

Liked the squished front end on the SS and Z/28 mock ups.
but the rear on all of them are terrible.

What they should have done is gone full LED tails like the Technostalgics instead. that would get far more looks than those.

those are garbage..

another WTF is why is the RS V6 getting the V8 NPP exhaust?..

Will be interested in seeing the first 3-6 month sale figures - the chart will tell us what people think of the redesign.

Yes, that will be the telling tale. If the sales figures improve, it will mean they have tapped into a different market IMO.

Sorry...the new design is not growing on me at all. I still think the tail lights are completely hideous and the front is a step backward as well. Seems like GM went backward just like they did back in '74. The '70-'73 was a great design '74-'77 was horrible, '78-'81 mehh in between but still not that great.

I just have a feeling the sales numbers are going to be down some once the '14 comes out. Lets hope they get it right with the 6th Gen.

Good news.....I think the resale value on my '10 is going to continue to stay about where it's at.

I'll be honest....as of right now if something happened to my '10 and I couldn't get a used '10-'13, I think I would pass on the Camaro. I really feel like they shot the Camaro in the foot.

The car is somewhat awkward looking. I wonder who designed and approved these modifications. I am glad I didn't wait for 2014.

How can they make such a success like the 5th gen and then completely make a piece of shit like this after is beyond me. Looks like a Honda Prelude from the raer.

They should have deleted the rear side marker being that the lights somewhat wrap around the side of the rear. IMO
I think they did the LED's to keep up with the rest of cars on the road. Seems like every other vehicle on the road has rear LED's

a split front bumper design and round tails like a 1970 Z28 would of done it for me.

I know this car shouldn't look the same as 2010-2013 but I still just can't get over the fact that it lost the muscle car look.

It just kind of looks like a sumo wrestler sat on the hood. And the lines just aren't the same. The 2010-2013 models have beautiful lines. I just don't see it in this one.

I don't know how to say it exactly but this car just kind of doesn't look cohesive. The back and front don't match well and the side profile just kind of makes the car look smashed in the front.

If I had one word to describe this car it would be - Awkward -

I am still going to wait for final judgement until I see one for real.
I was hoping the V6 versions would look better than what I have seen so far. I did notice the non RS V6 red one had no chrome strip on the front and the grille is styled similar to the stock grille now.
As of right now I am not feeling the changes were for the better.

Recently saw the rear of a prelude on the road and it is unsettling to see the resemblance. It lost its aggressive look compared to the mustang. I am sure if those brilliant designers at gm had just a little more flexibility, we would have beed given the first 4 door Camaro.

Not a big fan of the chrome around the upper edge of the grille, in fact I hate it.
The lower grille looks over sized and out of place.
The rear tail lights are a nice throwback to the late 60's but the euro tail lights look better.

My next car won't be a camaro for sure...

Maybe I am being a bit harsh. It's an 'okay' looking car. I just won't be buying one

The NPP exhaust was available on the 2013 V6 too. It didn't get much attention. There are very few videos of it on here.
