I just scored a 2013 convertible rear spoiler... in black for $190 shipped...

I'm looking to get the ZL1 rocker's and rear diffuser and a heritage grille.

I may have to start a build thread.

Well funny thing happened at the dealer... while my car was sitting on the lift for 3 days waiting for the wheels to come back from the wheel shop the hockey pucks that were supposed to keep the lift off of my rockers split. This messed up my rockers.

So the service manager said he would replace them no problem. I pointed out that I was looking into the ZL1 rockers. Guess what he's getting me? Yep ZL1 rockers.

He's also going to install the heritage grille I had ordered this morning for my troubles.

Can you say SCORE?

Stingray Chevrolet is the place to go. No hassles and if they mess up they take care of it w/o any questions.

Good deal. Glad your rockers were the only thing that was damaged.

Yes... seems like it all worked out good for me.

I can't say enough how great they are to deal with at Stingray Chevy in Plant City FL.

Yesterday the ZL1 rockers and Heritage grille got installed. They look freaking fantastic!

Today the convertible spoiler came in and I installed it and buffed out a few minor imperfections.

This is how the car should have looked from the factory.

On the way back from the dealer I caught a rock to the windshield put a few chips in it. I'm getting them fixed tomorrow.

After I wash it today I will snap a few pictures and post them up.

Oh and BTW... I LOVE THIS CAR!

Awesome deal with the rockers! What is the difference with the vert spoiler? Just painted?

So let me put up a mod list...

1) Tinted ALL the windows... very much needed
2) Added some pedal covers... http://www.emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/3436/4107
3) Added a new frame brace (had Jason make me one with no logo)... http://jacfab.com/products/camaro-pr...-tunnel-brace/
4) Put on a screen protector for the My Link... I just took a Zagg Invisishield for a lap top and cut it down to size. I should be able to get two more out of the one sheet.
5) Added an Elite catch can from JDP.
6) Did a Stage 1 clutch resevoir from JDP. I should have done a Stage 2. Replaced the reservoir with a factory new one.
7) Swapped out a Convertable rear spoiler. Found a black one on Ebay for $190. I might paint it the same color as the factory 1LE spoiler. REPLACED WITH Z/TA SPOILER.
8) Added the ZL1 rockers. Might do the ZL1 rear diffuser.
9) Had the wheels Powder Coated under warranty. They look right, now.
10) Added the Heritage Grille.
11) DRL harness with LED's from JDP. http://www.jdpmotorsports.com/jdp-mo...rness-jdpl1003
12) I installed an ADM Race Intake with a Roto-Fab washer tank.
13) Installed the Phastek complete interior lighting kit I got the Aqua so it matches the dash lighting... http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...bl-led-kit.htm ... I'm quite pleased with it. Only problem is that now I see every piece of lint on the floor...
14) Painted the strut bar center section semi gloss black.
15) De-badged the only emblems left on the vehicle are the front and rear Bowties...
16) Installed a V-Max ported TB. Nice SOTP improvement.
17) CTS-V/ZL1 Brakes custom painted with 1LE logo's.
18) Dimple plugged everything oil pan, trans x2, diff x2, also added the Black Hole filter magnets.
19) Pfadt Tri-Y Hi-Flo Cats coated in Semi Gloss Black on the way from JDP.
20) Dyno Tuned by Jeremy Formato. 432 RWHP/422RWTQ
21) Fluidampr #760121 from a forum member NIB hell of price.
22) Pieced together Pedders Permagrin package 32mm Rear Z-Bar stripped and painted black with the following Whiteline black bushing Cradle, Differential, Radius Arm. SPC Camber/Toe bolts rear and Caster bolts front.
23) ACS GTZ Hood painted Satin Black in BC/CC
24) Z/TA Rear spoiler painted Satin Black in BC/CC
25) Empire polished Aluminum front and rear Bowties.

At 2200 miles I did a base line dyno. 368HP/366TQ bone stock on a Dyno Jet.
At Approx 8500 miles Pfadt LT's with Cats, ADM Race intake, Vmaxx Ported TB and Jeremy Formato Tune 432/422 on a similar Dyno Jet.

I also plan to Pedderize the suspension. See this thread for the route I plan to take... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=285242 Pedders 1LE Perma Grin package http://www.peddersusa.com/product/Ca...g/Default.aspx

I'm also kicking around the idea of doing some ACS stuff. The T3 Ports the functional mailslot conversion maybe the rear quarter ports. If I go that route I will add a belly pan of some sort.

I would describe the Vert spoiler kinda like a subdued ZL1 spoiler. It's full length and lower no third brake light either. I believe every 5th gen Vert has the same spoiler. It really compliments the car without being gaudy.

10) Added the Heritage Grille.

I'm right at 1200 miles I will get a base line Dyno after I hit 1500 miles and then I will look into some power mods.

I plan to start with an intake (I'm torn between a CAI, ADM and JacFab if it gets done in time) and a V-Max ported TB. Possible a Vararam wedge. Headers will be not too far behind and soon there after a cam and ported heads. Obviously it will be tuned along the way.

I also plan to Pedderize the suspension very soon. See this thread for the route I plan to take... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=285242

You're not wasting ANY time!! These cars respond to mods well. Lookin good!

Car looks great, does the spoiler require additional holes on the trunk lid?

It was a direct bolt on. Literally took me longer to find all the tools than to swap it out.

You need a 10mm for the nuts 6 of them IIRC, and then an 8mm deep socket to push the tabs on the one clip. A panel clip tool would be nice too. Literally a 15 min job.

What attracted me to the Vert spoiler aside from looks was OEM quality and fit and the ease of the install.

The only other spoiler I looked at seriously was the Z/TA spoiler... http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...poiler-113.htm ... it's a little more pronounced than the Convertible spoiler though.

I also got a smoking deal on the Vert spoiler though.

You know looking at the pics. I really need to get rid of those RED brake calipers. I can't wait for GM to come out with the ZL1 brake upgrade. I want to put that set up on and then remove/buff off the ZL1 logo and then replace it with a 1LE logo of some sort. I'm thinking something that is along these lines...

Obviously stylized apropriately...
