I really like the new design, but i must agree that the non-ss frontbumper looks a bit too harm to me.

In direct comparison I really think the 14 looks absolutely amazing - it's different, kind of a new approach in the look, but amazing.

Okay, got to say that I'm german and I really disliked the way the eu model looked. I've heard the 14 will look in eu the same as the us model, which for me is the point where I will finally become a camaro owner

I love the haters ... Honestly I do. CAN NOT WAIT for the 14s to come out. Finally a refined car that will make them salivate. The Z/28 drew so much attention and now that it's not attainable by most the 14s have been written off. Just face the truth ... You 10-13s r old news. I'm so happy that GM differentiated between the V6s and the SS / Z/28 models. 10-13 models shared too many features on the V6 and V8. No more. Pay up or shut up. Judge all you want from those garbage pictures. Worse than TMZ cuz nothing can be made out except that the V6s will be ugly. If you aren't sure about the 14s check out the Z/28 pics. If you don't like the Z/28 so be it cuz GM doesn't care and neither do any customers either. Bottom line is be irrelevant .. That's all.

I love my '13. Only year for that body style 1LE....and the last year for IOM. Definitely a lot more relevant than a cookie cutter wannabe.

This was a great visual comparison. Thanks for the post. I see how they tried to go a little more aggressive on the front end.

If someone got a 14 V6 and did a 14 SS front end swap I definitely would not flame them whatsoever. That V6 front is just horrid.

In this forum I am in the minority, but I like the 2014 Camaro and plan to buy a 2LT/RS convertible. The inspiration for the taillights of the 2014 might have been the 1969 Camaro.

Is it just me or did they make the halos brighter? And what do they operate as DRL's now?

I think the ulimate question would be....does the changes that GM made for 2014 make someone who would not have bought the old design buy the new one. I think the answer is no.

My personal thought is that this shows the importance of Bob Lutz, and what can make it through the pipeline without him there.
Yup. I hope products and profitability are not lost to '80s style market share and cost focus.

Someone above also said the '14 rear end loses the **sculpting** from the rest of the car that made it so interesting. I think that sums up the specific issue with the tail.

I posted it on one of the first pages of this thread and I'll post it again, it's NOT lowered. There are 4 grown men inside that car. That is why it looks lowered. It's squatting because they packed it like a clown car.

I was wondering the same thing. Looks good regardless if thats true. Maybe its standard now? It also appears they got rid of the large cans.

I like the look of the refresh as well as the original 5th Gen. I know I may be one of the very few but I will be buying a new one when they come out. Personally i think there is soooo much bashing of the newer Camaro because everyone is already stuck with high payments and are probably going to be upside down if they trade it in so the only way to make you feel good (or let me rephrase that, make you feel better) about your current car is to bash the newer look one. Thats just my opinion. Either that or there are too many Indians and not enough chiefs.

Not liking the front end or not like the taillights is one thing but to bash the car as a WHOLE is just hating. Just sayin...

No one is bashing the whole car. That makes no sense since its the same car we all own. It's the front and back people don't like. I'd be the first to admit my jealousy but the fact of the matter is its just downright funky looking. I was all ready to be disappointed that the new car was "so much better" than mine but luckily for my wallet I'm not.

That V6 front end looks like the squinty face of someone that ate too much glue as a child.
The back is just....uninspired.

It takes getting used to but I still don't like it. Maybe in another 6 months.

I kind of like the front fascia.. but I'm not going to do it with mine.

I do not like the new tail lights though.
