I think you will be pleasantly pleased.

BTW, these are just temporary. They are cheap for a reason, and made of mild steel. if you live in a dry climate with no snow. these shouldn't be a problem. if you live in a humid, or snowy place, that puts salt on the roads, these will rust through in 2 or 3 years, if a daily driver.

Thanks for the feedback on that tip! I don't drive mine daily and its never been in the rain or snow. I retire in 16 months and that may change once the take home is gone, though I plan to buy a daily driver to keep the Gen5 in. It is humid and hot here in Indy and they do use salt, molasses and potassium mix on our roads as a pre-treat before the calcium.

I'd like to get some headers but I don't need the High Flow Cats since I have the Solo's now. I just like to get something to bolt up to my existing program and keep it rolling.

I don't believe there are any headers that will work with the SOLO without modification, as long tube headers will replace them, and shorty headers have to be welded in place in some form or another (Doug Thorley shorties are welded in place, and the JBAs have a flange that is welded into place) so you'd have to modify (cut) the upper part of the SOLOs.

I'm not sure adding shorties in place of the stock headers and running the SOLOs would be worth it. It would be much more cost effective, and likely simpler overall to just replace the SOLOs with full length headers and sell the SOLOs.

Yea ya probably right Keith. I'll keep pushing the way that I am for now. I was trying to compare vids with the one I sent you with the cats and this one and these old ears can't tell that much difference for the time, effort and money.

I am getting dynoed this weekend. I will try and remember to post my results in this tread. If you want instant results please follow my thread because I keep up to dated with it.

I found mine on Amazon. The price keeps on increasing and decreasing. The last I heard the price was set at $211.

unfortunately, we don't have a baseline dyno without the headers.

Hmmmm I don't know enough about dyno to know if this is good or bad. What would SAE corrected make it or it is too late to know?

they seem to be on the low side, but without a baseline, without the long tubes, it's tough to measure what kind of gains it had.

SAE corrected would have made the numbers increase. basically would have told you what your car is running with perfect density altitude and weather. at least that's to my understanding of SAE corrected.
