It's probably in better condition used as a storage shelf in a garage than it would have been had it sat under a tarp in the elements for two decades.

When they opened the hood at the shop they found a nice surprise, huge rats nest in there. I guess that's expected after sitting for so long.

If you want to drop a big block in it pm me. I did that mod back in the early 80's on my 79 Z/28 a piece of cake really.

Thanks but we are going to stick with the same 350 engine. And I know these were cars where you could literally do all the work yourself.
