That's actually my fear too. Specially after breaking the 3 drive shaft bolts off.my clutch grabs hard still . I launched it at 2800 and my whole car was side ways all the way thru 1st.i didn't even get down the track. I figured the new one piece driveshaft will fix this problem.Thinking of getting 3.91 gears.then just working on suspension sway bars. What mods did your car have on it when you ran the 1/4?

just the SC on the stock Pirelli 20's... many mods since..I am already about to shift at the end of the 1/4, so 3:91 may add a shift and possibly slow me down. trapping 109 now.

Plus autocross and track days are alot more fun !!!

Wow that's one thing I was thinking about. How close was the rpms to shifting at the end?

I was past the peak power, about 200 rpm off the limiter

That is close. Just enough to shift right at the end.
