The stock front cannot be installed on the 10 inch wide rims. You'd need to get the 9 inch wide versions which is exactly what I plan to do.

Do yourself a favor and throw the factory Pirelli's as far as you can! They're pure junk anyway!

Never going to happen GM went after both LG and Factory Reproductions for making ZL1 replica 10-spoke wheels thus the re-design.

+1

And to be honest I can't tell the difference between the replicas or the original.

I can tell the price difference though.

I'm pretty sure ZL1 owners wont be able to tell either, when my car is on the street.

The difference is so minimal.IMO

Yep if LG does not get their $hit together with the LG wheels I will jump ship and buy these wheels and save myself $900.

I have had several PMs recently as to the origin, quality and pricing of our wheels.

· Our wheels are made in China to our specifications.

· The plant in China who makes our Style 41 wheel also manufactures wheels for foreign and domestic auto manufacturers.

· All of our wheels meet or exceed the standard J2530 developed by the Society of Automotive Engineers. J2530 is similar to the German TUV and Japanese VIA, JWA and JWT standards.

· The finish of our wheels is as durable as an “OEM”. We also subject our wheels to the same salt spray tests for finish durability.

· We employ an independent 3rd party quality control company. This company has employees on the manufacturer’s premises in China to inspect and verify that the wheels are made to our specifications.

· We warranty what we sell complete detail on our website www.factoryreproductons.com

I have also been asked why our Style 41 wheel is less expensive than other wheels offered in ZL1 sizes on this forum. I do not know how other companies formulate their pricing. Our pricing is based on cost plus a reasonable profit not “what the market will bear”.

I take exception to the comments of another member/vendor on this forum who implies that our wheels must be sub-standard as a reason for the price differential. The quality and durability of our wheels are measured by objective industry standards not superlatives such as “race proven” or “crash tested”. Besides how do you “crash test” a wheel you don’t even have? Is there a warrany?

Founded in 1998, Factory Reproductions is the largest replica wheel company in the United States.

We got there by providing a product that is second to none backed by outstanding customer service.

Doug, I too was shocked when I heard the price of the other zl1 replica wheels. They were claiming their wheels were race proven, and high quality. They also stated that their wheels were American made. When I asked what made their rims better than factory reproduction wheels, I was assaulted immediately. At that point, I was reading this thread and came across the quick answers you were shooting out left and right to our questions without mentioning any other rims. I knew I was getting these rims for sure. I also have known about factoryreproductions proven oem quality wheels for a while now so it was a no brainer.

Thanks Doug, and I appreciate it for sticking with the design of the wheels as well as keeping the prices low for us consumers.

Thanks for the kind words. We think the quality of our wheels and customer service says it all. If we have to resort to critizing our competition to move product we might as well close our doors.

Doug, I too found it almost funny that the competitor's wheel was "crash tested" when they hadn't even been produced!! I think you guys make a good product at a reasonable price as I've researched your wheels for my TBSS prior to looking at these wheels (though I never did end up going with the black wheels for the TBSS).

As for customer service, I had a very nice and lengthy call with David earlier today as I had put in my order for those polished wheels that didn't make the shipment. David was extremely helpful at explaining my options and let me know up front that he wasn't here to sell me on some BS excuse. He offered me his opinions and experience with wheels on his own camaro and told me that whatever I wanted to do, he'd make sure I got my wheels ASAP... so now the only problem is do I go back to my original plan of black wheels or wait!! haha The excitement is killing me!!

Send a PM or Email to Doug let him know what size and style you want. Once the wheels are close he will ask for a deposit, and once they arrive you will be asked to pay in full.
