Here are some Pictures of my Acs sideskirts. I Could not be any happier with Acs sideskirts. They are great quiality, and easy to install. I painted the side skirts myself from home with rustoleums metallic Carbon Mist primer/paint to match the front splitter and all the other trim.

ordered my set today from Phastek (where I also ordered the splitter). They are a few dollars cheaper and you can use "welcome5" for a 5% dicount to all Camaro5 members. $366 shipped.

Is there much prep work involved if I order them unpainted? (sanding etc.)

I plan on painting mine gloss black

I lightly sanded with a fine grit in a few, and I mean a few places. They come primed and pretty much 99.9% ready to paint. The fit is great, on the second rocker I skipped all the installing and removing when it came to scoring the scrivet holes (you'll see what I mean). Once I installed the screws, I carefully drilled into the side of the rocker panel.

did you order them painted? how long did it take to get them. i ordered 3 weeks ago and am still waiting for delivery.

i went back and forth between these and the zl1 rockers. these appear to be simpler to install and you dont have to worry about matching paint.

looking forward to seeing more pictures of these installed!

Finally received mine and got them installed. I ordered them painted and they took about 3 weeks to ship. I thought the packing was good but one did have a spot where it looked like it rubbed during shipping.

Installation was pretty straight forward and simple. The instructions provided were clear and easy to understand. All the hardware was included and all I needed was a few household tools and an extra set of hands.

I'm pretty happy with the way they look on the car. The passenger side fit perfect but the driver side didn't set flush to the front end. It's annoying to look at up close but at a distance it's fine and I can live with it. Overall I'm satisfied.

Here are some pics:

Hi drunKenobi,

I have to say your 1LE looks awesome ! Thank you on the feedback, rest assured we have changed our packaging of the rockers, these were most likely in the first lot.

New boxes are longer and larger :-)

Can you email us images of the 4 corners of the rockers, the fit issue is alarming me. I have personally installed half a dozen and managed to get them flush on both ends, I'd like to further understand this...

my email is info@acscomposite.com

I too bought these rockers last month and had the same fitment issues as drunKenobi...they are a couple of millimeters short at both ends. So this is definitely not a one-off.

They are a great addition to the car though and I wouldn't want to swap them for anything..!

We have been monitoring our production for the last few weeks, with no major variation between parts... not sure how to explain your findings... if you do have an issue do consider our Front Wheel Mudflap's to match the rockers.

The do wrap the rockers by 7 mm.

How does the finish on these compare to the finish on the front splitter? I'm already running ZL1 rockers to compliment my 1LE splitter. I'm interested in the mud flaps and the rear rockers.

Bumping for a question or two.

Anyone install these; the splitter and the rear extensions in the primed finish? I'm interested in a matted black look that goes from the front splitter all the way back and blending in with the rear diffuser. I was hoping I could install out of the box without painting. Not sure if that's possible.

I think with the grey that the matte black splitter, rocker, extensions would look great.

We suggest you paint the parts, even if its using a spray can.

Primer will not offer any UV protection over time. We do offer them pre-painted in satin black.
