I think that my biggest complaint regarding the M6 is that it a little lean with power throughout the higher gears. I really loved the way my '99 Firehawk T/A had crazy power through all gears. Obviously it isn't a fair comparison but my point is that it's a little weak in the upper gears require more downshifts then I'm used to. And IMO the gearbox is a little cluncky. The clutch is nice but the shifter just doesn't seem to shift all that smooth. Again, just my opinion.

do you have the standard shifter or the hurst shifter that is offered as a up grade???

The gas pedal's more sensitive than I'm used to. I've only had the car for 3 days now, but every time I take it out I get pushed back into my seat at least once.

Well it won't compare to the SS but lemme tell you that I think compared to '09 128i and the 2010 mustang I test drove the Camaro V6 is incredibley superior and YES it will throw you back and get away from you if you hit that pedal.
