Differential is SHIPPED EMPTY, FYI so be prepared If it was new it would have a tag, being a take off it was inspected so go figure fluid is gone. I added royal purple and half the bottle of the GM friction modifier as recommended by others in the driveline section (credit to those guys, it works flawless!)

Has it been confirmed that the stock 2010 SS axles will fit the 1LE diff?

When will you know if you are getting axles and how many? Also, I also was lucky to get one of the first diffs and it came undamaged but the strapping to the wood did not hold.

It is a straight bolt in if you have stock axles. I believe 1LE axles will not work unless you change the hub. Also, if you use HP Tuners to change your gear ratio and it's a 2010, wait 10-15 minutes after you flash before powering the car up. If you don't, you'll most likely get an AC inop due to high engine temp code in your DIC. If you use EFI Live to flash, you shouldn't have any problems.

Mine went in like butter, and a nice gear. I was worried it would be too much but I think it good to go. A little relearning to do on getting through the gears fast as they are shoter durations forsure.

I installed mine by myself in 4 hours and that included a LOT of breaks and talking to friends. Took damn near 30 minutes to get the left side of my axle back lined up.

With your Maggie, I can imagine your traction problems. LOL

I actually think it spins about the same as before maybe even less because the first 2 gears are pretty short now. I also run DRs all the time at 20psi so that help it hook.

In my 1LE with the close ratio transmission in 3rd I bounce off the rev limiter at about 100. I'd be interested to know where 3rd ends for you with a stock LS3 tremec.
