Congrats, Fassteddie. I hope yours doesn't take as long in Missouri as mine has in Maryland. Mine has been sitting 3 hours away from me for almost a week now. SO frustrating.

Hey guys, just got some news....

MY CAR ARRIVED AT THE DEALERSHIP TODAY!

Going to go pick her up tomorrow! And my girlfriend has no idea yet - I plan to drive up and surprise her with the new wheels.

Same boat. 4B00. What's the deal? Same TPW as people who's car arrived at the dealership already.

Hoping to see my AGM 1SS/RS before Mothers Day! TPW 4/15. Chevy shows as shipped. Haven't been this excited about something in a long time.

nope. becky doesnt know. my dealer doesnt know. GM rep is not getting back to my dealer with any kind of information. its been bayed for 17 days now, for no apparent reason. im guessing its tires, but they are still building them and someone in the 4/22 TPW is apparently getting theres very soon.

i get it having to sit and wait to be checked, but someone tell me WHHYYYY. :/

i just heard from my dealer. he told me that my order still shows 4B00 but it has been put into "transport mode" meaning a) it should flip to 4200 in the next 48 hours and b) should have a delivery date when that happens.

we'll see....... he told me that it seems that they may be cleared for shipment now and they just need to get enough on the same train to GTFO the factory. it flipping to "transport mode" means they may have enough to push out for my area. I dunno how many other peeps in the greater DC/VA/MD metro area are waiting for a 1LE or ZL1, but hopefully its enough to get them out soooooooon.

I have a very strong feeling I will make my first car payment at the beginning of June before I get my car. This just does not seem fair. It really does not matter because it has to be paid off any way, just wish the car was here.

Well after some phone calls to Chevrolet, and my dealer getting involved, the best I can tell is the 1LEs and ZL1s produced the weeks of 4/8, 4/15, and 4/22 were all set aside for a detailed inspection to assure that the quality level on these cars was where it needed to be. They are all available to be shipped at this point, and should be on the way. Some of you may already have yours. I just thought you might all want to know! The wait is almost over!

Thats awesome!! My dealer said something similar to that last Friday, however he told me we wouldn't be getting our cars till the end of the month...I hope he's wrong!! All last week I kept getting different reports that my car was awaiting transportation or that it was at quality inspection...Today they told me it was at quality inspection but all these asymmetries in information have just motivated me to stop checking the status and just wait it out till my dealer calls up saying he got the invoice.

I posted this somewhere else...maybe this thread, but the 1LEs and ZL1s from TPW 4/8, 4/15, and 4/22 were pulled for in depth inspection by GM. There was nothing wrong with them, simply a quality assurance move for production. That is the word from my dealer, and it is supported by comments from GM customer service.
