props to rhino79 tune

Hi, Im kinda new on the forum and since I bought my 5th gen Ive just been doing alot of searching and reading mainly. I decided to buy long tubes, cold air kit and get a tune. After a few track visits I was kinda unhappy with the performance of what it ran after seeing what some of these car run on here. Trans seemed really slugglish and seemed like it shifted to early.

Well last week I decided to buy hp tuners and do some adjusting myself, well that went south quick. I was very impressed with rhino79 car, so I pmed him about helping me out and he said sure gave me ideas on what to change, etc. Well after about several emails of bugging him I decided to send him my tune file. He made several changes and I flashed it this morning along with several more emails bugging him. He always answered them without making me feel like Im a idiot.

Now onto the tune, wow what a difference it seemed to make. Before it would spin but not like it does now. Trans shifts nice and firm. Cant wait to get to the track this coming up weekend to try to improve on my times. Just wanted to share my experience and tell everyone what a stand up guy rhino79 and that you won't go wrong with his tunes.

Congrats to Key4 on the new personal best last night with the new calibration in WORSE weather and spinning! If I understood him correctly, he picked up nearly .2 and in between 2-3 mph IN THE 1/8th over the calibration he already had!!!

Are you able to adjust the VVT tables in the tune with the HP Tuners?

I'm curious if all the hand held tuners can do those changes.

I'd love to find a clean LT1. It's hard to find one that's not a piece!
