What "special" tools would be required to DIY the headers that you think I probably wouldn't have...if any?

If the BBK's fit anything like the OBXs Id charge $300 to install em....lol

No really, they should be no more than a $200 affair brotha. Them folks up at XXX in PCola do em but I don't know what they'd charge on the V6ers. I think one of the SS Guys paid $180 when I was there.

Can't wait to see LT's on your beast finally....

Dang, Ivan...I'd take them over there if I could get them on for $180....or even $200! That's a steal compared to what I was quoted. Maybe I'll call them up just to find out.

I dunno. I don't think I have half of this stuff. This is making me want to pay someone, lol. Maybe not $460.....but maybe I'll find something cheaper.

Unfortunately we don't have a V6 LT solution. We had a couple cars go into DT for prototype. One stole the only prototype set and never returned to DT for production, the other one never followed up.

Still looking for a 2010/2011 if you're in the Corona, CA area btw....Free Set to ya!

This makes life a little easier for sure but you can use a 7/8 open ended wrench the same. Just make sure it's not a cheesy wrench that will slip off the HO2....them wrenches with the little cut in horizontal teeth work awesome and that's all I use.

I called another shop (XXX Motorsports in Pensacola) and they quoted me at $450. Looks like that's around the going rate.

let me ask you, did you ask for their hourly rate, or just ask them how much to install headers for a Camaro?
