Can't stand dropped trucks. It's a truck. Not a big sports car.

That look on a regular cab would be fantastic. I still don't care for the Silverado, but the new Sierra is REALLY starting to grow on me.

I don't care for slammed trucks, but trucks meant as sport trucks are fine. my Dakota is slightly lowered, nothing major, 1/2 I believe, but it is also a 2WD, Lightnings, Extreme S-10s, Dakota R/Ts, 2WD is all ok IMHO, don't see the point in a 4x4 though, and even with them, only a slight raise, not a fan of these huge lifted trucks with tires sticking out a foot past the fender haha.

Oh I agree, I think there are limits to lifts too. I'd be fine doing a very slight lift just to get a little more ground clearance when offroading but wheel and tire size would probably stay pretty close to stock.

Sport trucks are cool but I just don't see a point in them I guess. I'd rather get a sports car and leave my truck for work purposes. I guess it just boils down to what I've always used my truck for.

For me I guess the appeal is that it kind of emvompasses the best compromise of 2 worlds. These trucks could handle very well (thankss to the fact that the manufacturers really dug into the suspensions), power matching the ponycars of their time, and they could still haul and tow like trucks. Also, when they were at their most popular the availability of true RWD sporty cars were at a premium. Also, done right, they look pretty mean

Why not have both? A fast truck is just as collin if jot cooler IMO because traditionally there not so the "sleeper" effect really plays nice with a truck. Now if it gets the 6.2 in a rcsb.... my camaro is gone as some as I can grab one on the used market.

A friend of mine sideswiped a semi truck with a wheel like that. The damage was pretty cool actually.

It literally twisted the sheetmetal. You could see where the bolts gouged into the paneling and then deformed it into a spiral.

We were actually trying to convince him not to repair it.
