Worried about car being keyed

Hello, as anyone in high school worries about their vehicle being keyed\messed with, how could you stop this? I found viper security with proximity alert. It pretty much sends a message or beeping noise to the person if they are getting to close and will notify them that the car has security. Would something like this work? Shoot me and others some ideas that you have.
Thanks

Yea, you can record your own message. Might have it say something about transforming.

You can't live worrying about that. I always worried about that in high school and it never happened. Then in college it happened, I did not even know hardly anyone that went to my college so it was just random.

That's why we have insurance, and that type of claim won't raise your premium if you have good insurance.

Get a gun and sit by the car the entire time? Otherwise you can't just sit around worrying...an alarm isn't going to stop it if they really wanna do it.

Car cover

This was the cover I had for my civic and Maxima. Still works. It's not water proof so when it rains the water leaves stains but it keeps the sun off. I would like to get a water proof cover with the racing stripes.
