Talking Range Technology AFM/DOD Disable Device IN STOCK @ Apex Motorsports!!!

The Range AFM Disable Device keeps your vehicle in 8 cylinder mode 100% of the time, preventing the Active Fuel Management system from dropping cylinders. This is the only product that will disable Active Fuel Management without reprogramming the factory ECU. Full power delivery all the time without factory warranty concerns.
  • Keep your vehicle in V8 mode! Disable 4 cylinder mode on all GM Active Fuel Management Vehicles.
  • Full Power - No more shuttering or dropping cylinders. Range V8 keeps you in full power 100% of the time.
  • Fast and easy setup - Simply plug in Range into your onboard OBD-II port and it instantly begins working with your Active Fuel Management to optimize your fuel economy.
  • Safe - The Range V8 does not reprogram your factory ECU. Leaves no trace.
  • Increased throttle response and more consistent power delivery across the entire power band.
  • Installs in seconds
  • 2 Year Warranty

How Do We Do It?

From the beginning, our operation was set up to function as rapidly and efficiently as possible. Most of our order processing system is automated which means that an order can be completely processed and ready for pick up within minutes of the order being placed. Unlike many of our competitors, APEX Motorsports is a stocking distributor for most of the brands we carry and not a dedicated drop shipper. This allows us to ship in stock items the same day or next if the order is received after our last pick up. In the event that an item is out of stock, APEX Motorsports has access to multiple extensive distributor networks and can draw on the inventories of dozens of regional warehouses across the country and ship the item from the warehouse closest to you.

APEX Motorsports has another key advantage over our competition. Our physical location. Like Amazon, Zappos, and many other major shippers APEX Motorsports is located in Louisville, Ky. which places us within 600 miles of more than 60% of the United States population. It also places us only a few miles from the UPS World Hub. That means that once your order leaves our loading dock it doesn't have to travel 1-2 days to be processed before being directed to your address. It is done within hours of the order being placed and is on it's way to your door, more than 60% of which aren't very far down the road.

Below is a map displaying the estimated delivery times for orders shipped from APEX Motorsports.

I've got one of these and love it. I purchased mine about a month ago and have no regrets about buying it. It has been happily plugged in since I first got it. Also haven't had any issues with it what so ever. Its a great feeling to be able to drive my car now and have it sound the way it is meant to sound. An option for those looking to disable their AFM without a tune and something that is completely plug and play is finally here!

They should be the latest version. They do not stay on the shelf very long.

Here's my test today of the Range device:

travel 300 miles with range from Ft laud to Jax - install Hex Vents and turn around and come back exact same route. Plugged in going up, unplugged coming back.

trip up with range -->306 miles, used 16.09 gallons for 19.02 mpg
trip back w/o range -->300 miles, used 15.92 gallons for 18.84 mpg

But most importantly, the ride with the range is far nicer, no afm kicking in and out and at 75 mph, with the range it turns 100 rpm less. If AFM is trying to save gas, it is making the engine work harder to do it, IMO....whole trip done using Cruise control at 75...

no lights or alarms the whole trip - like it's not there

I returned mine to Range Technology for an updated version for my 2013 and have yet to have it returned even with return postage.

Totally agree. I've had my Range for a full year with only one issue. That was when the car sat for 7 days without being run (I was out of town). When I came back the battery was dead. I have the version 1 Range and there is an ever so slight battery drain, as it was explained to me, and if your car is going to sit for more than 3 days you might want to take 5 seconds to disconnect the device. No issues since and I don't know if the later versions have this minor issue or not.

I also performed a MPG test with a 800+ mile round-trip. Same speeds and nearly identical terrain both ways (same route, less than 1 mile difference). I got about 1 mpg better WITH the Range device activated (AFM deactivated). Here is my full review, if anyone's interested:

Can the range finder be switched from my camaro to my 14 sierra without issue or does it only work on one car like a power programmer?
