I am interested in the CAI with rotofab washer relocator but want to know if the filter is an oiled filter or not? My local shops highly recommends not getting an oiled filter. Is this optional or able to switch out?

Really like it! There are so many choices it is killing me. So far this second one, with the in-cabin feed is my favorite setup.

Smile on my face says it all.

Thank you, scrming, MRT, and AutoAgenda for making this all happen for me!

Awesome! I am planning for spring

V1.0 or V2.0 are the best Axle-back option on the market. Also the best priced!

They are by far our most popular V6 exhaust systems. Of the two, the v2 being the most popular

the MRT 2.0 is awesome for the LT. I wish I could easily (and without breaking the bank) get that exhaust note on my SS like I did with the MRTs on my 2LT.

Solo axle back with J-pipes. Priced even better than the MRT v2 and sounds great.

[QUOTE=scrming;1114867]Well, I got a call from Scott at MRT the other day. He wanted do do a little more experimenting. I had the day off yesterday so I went down to MRT.

Scott's been in the automotive business for a very long times and knows everyone's tastes are different, especially when it comes to exhausts. So to that end, Scott wanted to offer us Camaro owners a system with a sound that was a bit more subdued... a more refined performance sound...

So with that in mind and based some of the comments and feedback, Scott wanted to try and improve on the original Scrming's Axle Back system... He wanted to come up with a setup that would cut down on the rasp, be better behaved in the 2000 RPM range, that was tame while you were cruising, yet be aggressive when you WANT IT TO BE! Think of it as a Street Performance version...

I'm going to hold off posting my opinions and thoughts so people can give it an unbiased listen... grab your head phones guys!

Scrming, on the v2 video, love the sound and have decided that I am going with this for my ride. I wanted to know if at the time of this video, is the MRT v2 the only mod that got that sound? Did you have shortty headers or other mods? Thanks!

Good choice. Welcome to the MRT club. Install it yourself. Got a sawz all? Clamp it at first, just tighten the heck out of it. If it moves tighten again. Still moves have them welded. AS for the X pipe. Shouldn't need it with just the MRT's. Might notice a slight drone at 70 mph up hill slight throttle, but many of us have ignored it. I don't hear it anymore as I have LT headers and the X pipe.

At first I used clamps only. It kept sliding and touching the diffuser so the muffler shop guy put some tacks on it. Not fully welded and now it doesn't move around.

Love it. Didn't weld yet and one already turned. Neighbor said after hot then cold tighten again and should be good till weld. Anyone know fair price. Also clamp bolt size. I didn't install.

Just added the MRT 2.0 on our 2012 RS and couldn' be happier. Still haven't had it out on the highway at 70, so I don't know about the drone. Explained this to my wife, (It's her car), and she said, why would you not want to hear the exhaust! That's my girl!

I'm going to be adding the MRT 2.0
I also LOVE the look of duel tips.
Can anyone suggest some good quality duel tips that won't break the bank?
also, is it a big deal to change the tips?
