Rain Guard questions

Now I know its prevents water from entering the engine bay, How is the water/liquid routed out of the rain guards? or do we drain it our selves by removing the guards? Thanks in advance.

It does not collect the water. No need to remove them to "drain".

It will be forced to the area at the front, back and side of hood. (same place water would go in the gaps between hood and fender / hood and fascia / hood and cowl.)

I've had no problems with water getting in unless it was REALLY coming down. But it's still no problem given where the water is directed like stated. It keeps the heat out, and the front driver vent cann even feed your CAI if you like.

I clean my engine compartment usually every 2 weeks or so anyway, so there is absolutely no detriment and nothing to be concerned with. Also the nice thing about this hood is you really dont need hood pins. It's held downn very securely. It's the only carbon fiber hood that doesnt suck. It adds a lot of visual appeal as well. I get a lot of compliments.

because if you go too slow your hood falls off.

I have never raced and it works just fine on my car.

yes... it works in rain and shine..... snow, hail....

it has removable rain guards so if you don't want your engine to get a little wet under the vents you just keep those in and you are good... as I mentioned in previous posts.... even with the rain guards in the vents are still functional (due to the offset vent feature of the rain guards)

"Off road use only" is a manufacture disclaimer that basically says that you can't sue them for daily use ware and tear of the hood since it's an aftermarket hood and not your durable stock hood.
