Let me rephrase, it was one of the reasons, I love the body style, the power plant & the interior! The color just put it over the edge for me. Also the color is pretty close to the '69 I had in 1990.

Wish you still had it so you could sell me the beauty rings to go with my heritage wheels (steelies).

It was a beast, it had a small block 400 with a 268 comp cam, eldelbrok performer intake , Holley 750 carb, turbo 400 trans with high stall torque converter & the rear had 4:11 gears. she did a 13.7 sec 1/4 mile.

hello ABM cousins from JSB camaro in SoCal at high noon

taken today, about 12 noon, in the heat of the IE, in so cal.
I had to laugh, as I posted this, they restriped our parking lot, and the LEV stands for 'Light Emissions Vehicle"....it is my reserved space, being a supervisor, and parked next to me is Chevy Tahoe! hahaha

The way the camera tries to interpret the blight blue, it makes it look like there is aqua in my car! In reality, there is no green, but the Jet Stream Blue formula does reveal some red, silver, and alum metal flakes.

Nice pic, nice color, what color was it originally? How are you getting away with no front plate? I am lucky enough to be in a state that doesn't require it.

Most LEO's won't bother you with not having a front plate here in CA, unless of course you act out if they happen to pull you over for something else, then of course they will add that to the list of violations. Also it works as a reason to pull you over if they are suspicious etc. but most won't pull you over just for not having one.

Same here, all the wheels I really like are normally $500-$1000 a piece or more even...

I would consider their polished ones, but they look like there is a lot of holograming in the polish, as in it's not polished very well... I don't like black wheels, and they don't offer a full brushed so Chrome is where I am headed, plus it's the easiest to keep clean.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

She's back ….

So car initially went into body shop the last week of February and as of last night she is finally back home…

Would have had it back sooner but due to crappy weather here in the Black Hills I was in no hurry to get her back until spring was officially here LOL.

Seibon CF BB hood (Matt @ FSP)
ZL1 fascia (Gary's)
ZL1 rockers (parts taxi)
wire harness for NON RS to ZL conversion (Gen5DIY)
Blue LED halos in headlights and fogs (forum member)
LED Fog and ZL fog lights (Gen5DIY)
4 pack installed
ZL spoiler (SLP)
NIB (13) polished wheels (SLP)

Had a local body shop do all the work and paint. Stripes are a custom white, similar to Cadillac pearl white, but replaced the yellow tint with blue.

Next on the agenda is drop springs or coil overs and some nice wheels, but that will have to wait until next winter LOL

Awesome hood, that is the best looking aftermarket hood I have seen. I need a new one after getting my car repaired at the dealer after hitting a deer. It only did cosmetic damage to the front bumper but it bowed the hood just slightly.

Friends don't let friends get their cars repaired at dealer body shops.
