I knew the Wings would play the Hawks tough, but I gotta say, as a huge Wings fan I certainly didn't think we'd have this lead. Goes to show what happens in the playoffs. Regular season means very little.

Let's get her done on Saturday boys!!!
Let's Go Red Wings!!!!!!!!!!

Holy crap what a terrible game by the Red Wings tonight. Pretty much allowed to Hawks to do what they wanted. Outshot, outworked, out everythinged. Hopefully we respond like we did after the last 4-1 beating. Go Red Wings!!

Looks like the Wings are trouble again. Took a 2 to 0 lead into the 3rd period but lost 4 to 3. series tied 3 to 3 now.

A fine series boys! Detroit played very well and we got a 7 game round worthy of the Original 6.

Agreed. Still a pretty crushing defeat for a fan.

I know the feeling all too well. Been a Hawks fan all my life, I'll turn 40 in July, and have only been happy with my team since '08. You guys no doubt noticed how quiet the Hawks fans got until the series win in game 7? None of us expected a series win.

I imagine the Wings are going to give the East next year a wake up call and put all teams on notice. They ain't done winning Cups by any means and if a Wings/Hawks final is in our future then I'm going to have a heart attack.

The Hawks vs Kings should be a real good series too.
It was good to see ALL the Original 6 in the playoffs this year and next year with the Wings moving to the East I hope there is at least a home and home series with the Hawks.
