2014 ZL1s, 1LE, and Z/28 pictures from Michigan FBody Meet & Greet

Today was our 9th annual Meet & Greet car show hosted by Michigan FBody. We are lucky in that we have our show located within a stones throw of the Milford Proving grounds. Al Oppenheiser, John Fitzpatrick, Scott Settlemire, Cheryl Pilcher, and everyone on Team Camaro year after year generously donate their day to spend with us and we honestly can never thank them enough!

That said - today John, Al, and Cheryl spent the day with us at the Meet & Greet today and they brought some great 2014 cars with them. They even had the doors open and let everyone get in and check the cars out - many got to see the new color HUD and the taillights up close and personal!

I strongly urge those who don't like the 2014 taillights to wait a little longer until you see them in person -- although I already liked the looks of the 2014, seeing them in person they look even better!

Here's some pictures from today's show -

Milford, Michigan at Bakers of Milford. And yes - you could have made it! Our winner of the "Longest Hauler" award today was from St. Louis Missouri!

In addition to the above pictured cars from General Motors, Mark Stielow came with a beautiful 1969 Camaro with an LS9 in it. We had TWO outstanding 1969 COPO Camaros at the show. And numerous other amazing FBodies at the show. Too many to list, too many to take in. The show's attendance was a little lighter than years past due to the forecast of severe thunderstorms, but we had well over 150 FBodies at the show.

ZL1 just looks awkward with the rear fascia. But I do like the rear diffuser on the Z/28 wrapping around the exhaust pipes. Tail lights are a no bueno for me. Seeing them in person won't do it any justice, I haven't seen 1 pic that makes me want to upgrade. :( Thanks for the pics...

So has anyone else noticed this. I must have missed it. The ZL1 and I think the RS 2014 have different taillights. They have the clear/white lens running through the entire taillight. No ZL1's and non Rs'sssss have the plainer red light with only the white lens in the middle. Why does the Z28 have the "cheaper" taillight?

RS models and ZL1 have LED taillights and halo headlights. Z28 and NON RS have the bulb type lights and halogen headlights. Z28 is all thrills and no frills.

I'll reserve my final judgement til I see the car in person, but the rear tailamps have grown on me a least a tad. The front however, has not. I think the top grille is just too thin.

I respect your judgement, and admittingly was on the fence about it until today; when i got to see the 1LE, ZL1, and Z28 in person as well as sit my butt in the recaro seats. No longer on the fence about the refresh, i think it's a solid addition to the family! Nice job GM
