Noticed under your avatar your location states USS Enterprise. I did a west-pac cruise in 1986 on that great ship.

LOL, oh. You're going to call me a nerd for this but it means the star ship from StarTrek lol. Didn't know there was an actual ship named the same thing!

I was going to say, they decommissioned her a couple years ago. USS enterprise 1st nuclear aircraft carrier in the world. There are about 7 USS enterprises. Starting in the late 1700's too the most current CVN class. commissioned in 1961 till 2012 I believe.

Yes, I served 6 yrs. in the Navy and did one cruise on the Enterprise in 1986. The same year Top Gun came out. Actually you can see me in one scene at the end on the ship. I worked with fighter squadron VF-114, F-14 Tomcats. I was an electricians mate. Pretty cool job.
