Is it possible to order 2014 Z/28 Now?
My wife is keep telling/stalking me about the other car I bought last month over the ZL1 she ordered back in Feb. 2013, I thought 3 months were enough for domestic vehicle to be built and shipped, I really didn't want to buy a $65k Camaro which will end up having an old body styling in just a couple of months.
I hate talking to the the prev. sales mgr. guy who has been lying to me the whole 3 months about getting a 2014 one, hopefully someone here has more knowledge than them and help me. Is it possible to order the 2014 already? when they do not even have the MSRP yet? If its possible... when would I receive it? Any inputs will be greatly appreciated guys, have a good day! |

I believe GM said that the Z/28 will be introduced later in the 2014 model year.

Your wife would be happy with either ZL1 ! In any case, ordering information for the 2014 is not yet available. We encourage you to check chevrolet.com or your local dealer for updates. William R. Chevrolet Customer Care

While I know you are trying to be helpful, the information will be available here weeks before the Chevrolet website is updated.

I ordered a 2014 CTS-V this week. I can't help but think the Camaros aren't far behind.

When the Z/28 was announced. they stated it would be available Spring of 2014. If they follow the same procedure when the ZL1 was first released (1st quarter of 2012) then official ordering will begin sometime in the Fall. Hope this helps. But, if I were you, I would find a reputable dealership that will have an available allocation(s) for one and get on the list early if you want a chance at getting one.

I wouldn't call a 2013 ZL1 vs. a 2014 ZL1 "old body styling". What changes on the ZL1 between 2013 & 2014 on the ZL1? Tail lights and that's about all. If that small detail bothers you that much then you should cancel your 2013 order, and order a 2014. As for the Z28, I don't think it's going to be the car for you if you like all the latest gadgets of a luxury car and consider the fact that the car is designed to run on an autocross track more than anything.

I would much rather have a ZL1 over a Z28, especially after the styling changes being made.
As a matter of fact I do have a ZL1 and have zero plans of trading it in for a Z28. But that's just my preference, you can't go wrong either way. |
