We're making a little progress on it, and we're still trying to shoot for the end of summer. This is a strategic feature for us, and is a high priority item on our list. I wish that I could say that it was almost done, but we've got a ways to go.

I know that it isn't ideal, but picking up an old iPhone (3GS or later...no cell service needed), iPod Touch (4th gen or later), iPad (3rd gen or later) would get you running now, and then you could resell the device when the we have the android done.

I mentioned the iPad...and the app will run on it, but it is not an iPad version. This means that the app itself is designed for the smaller screens. This is also on our short list, right behind in priority to the android version.

Oh cool thanks. I have a new ipad so I could get by until then. That's great news!

Just got back from the Fbody gathering in Atlanta, GA hanging out with great friends from all over and showing off the NightOwl kit. The response was fantastic and people huddled around the 3 NightOwl cars checking out the lights!

You all are going to love this kit.

I was highly impressed when I got a chance to see it at C5F last year.

Thanks Mike!

For those that missed out on this deal, you can purchase an apple certified refurbished iPod Touch (4th Gen which supports the required iOS6), which also includes a new battery and outer shell so it will operate just like a brand new device. All of this is for $129. This would work very well with the NightOwl system. So for those of you that are waiting on our Android support, this would get you going now, and you could probably resell it for $100 in a few months.

You're welcome. I figured someone could snag that for a hundred. I had a buddy do me a solid and grab me a new 16G touch in exchange for some work on his vette I'm helping restore after no takers on my thread looking for used.

How goes the battle? Any updates?

I just sent out an update to all that pre-ordered with full details. We are waiting on our wiring harnesses to be corrected for some problems that we discovered during testing. While they were supposed to be corrected this week, we are now expecting to receive them back next week.

Our next batch is still on schedule, and we've already sold a small portion of those.

Thanks for the update, Joe! Communication has been excellent throughout all of this and not every vendor is as up front about it as you've been.

I am trying to find a couple of people that I have sent confirmation emails to but no reply. Hopefully they are just on vacation this week. If you placed an order on 4/3 or 4/12 and have not received an email from me in the past couple of days, please PM me.

All confirmations have been received. Many orders have been shipped, and the rest will ship out soon.

If everyone hasn't checked it out already, we have some instructional videos under Help on our website. We'll be adding more, and will likely soon have an update to the website, so I don't want to create post links.

Got my kit today too! My SL modules were in there too! Now I'm trying to figure out if I enough time this weekend to install it! All the components are nicely constructed and seem like great quality! Nice job, Joe!

I feel like J won the battle but others are likely winning the war. I desperately want to post pics and vids and be a success story for Joe @ Night Owl. Life got in my way. This is my daily driver. It decided now was the time for distributor, coil, wires, belt, blower motor resistor, and all new vacuum lines. I decided to repair the antenna wire I pinched in the doghouse 23 months ago while it's apart. Waiting for parts now. Done all I can. Rain in the forecast for Friday and motorcycle only this week. :(

I hope to pull the nose off of the car tomorrow night. Sorry Joe...

Bought this van in July or so of 2010. By November I had to do intake gaskets for a coolant leak. Since then it's been 50,000 miles and two caps and rotors, shocks, tires, 2 belts, radiator, hoses, fuel pump, mfi spider and all injectors, alternator, and plugs. I'm sure I've forgotten something. Been a trying relationship at times.

I got mine jacked up and got a few fasteners out tonight before dad duty called. I then spent 1-1/2 hours installing quicktime onto my old "garage" laptop so I can play the install disc. I was ready to smash the laptop by then so I have elected to stay away from the Camaro until tomorrow ...

MediaPlayer should play it just fine. If not, VLC Player is your friend: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
