To the OP, how many yards of carbon fiber did you order to use for all of your pieces? I am using the sight you posted earlier for the materials and I am gunho for this besides wondering how many yards is enough.

How much carbon fiber did you purchase for the whole project? Did they sell them in rolls? What size would I get?

I think to really finish the project the instrument bezel would need to be wrapped also....

I am completely uneducated on making carbon fiber pieces. So this question may seem odd and show my level of non-experience with CF. Are these pieces just wrapped in CF? When does the seperating of the OEM pieces and CF pieces occur?

You don't separate them it's a wrap process....

Wow- OP did a hell of a job... I am far lazier, so I need to find another way. Anyone ever epoxy over hydro-dipped CF to add depth, then clear? I may even go super lazy and vinyl wrap the parts to see how I like the concept for a while before going permanent.
