I remember seeing this a while ago, and remembered that a lot of people wanted it to be clear. I think it's kind of filmy/white. if it were clear, it would be going on my car.

I wonder how it stands up to heat.

I would wash all my clothes (including shoes) with it and also all my dishes/glasses/silverware.

Maybe pots/pans if it can handle high heat

Imo this stuff is kindbof expensive for some of the applications, ie a cardboard box... But when I was a kid I would play woth water droplets and mess with the bubbles that stayed in a little pool. And I wanted to create a swimming pool you could just walk in and out of. Like without being dug into the ground or without any walls containing it. This might he the first step to creating that.

I don't know that I'd want to try that. This stuff effectively seals off every pore in a material so that the water has nothing to "stick" to.

I imagine if it's used on human skin, it would make sweating and body temperature regulation a real challenge...

But if we're talking in a purely comical world, though, I would apply this to a child after they were washed/cleaned. Then you'd never have to wash/clean them again.

Throw this stuff on their clothes too, and voilā, no more mess!

Ok I didnt reprice it for thos thread, but it was a lot more when they first staryed producing it. Im guessingbit was partnering with rustoleum that dropped it so much. Tjat isnt so bad then. Still dont think I would use it for a cardboard box but to each their own.

After reading about discoloring effects and frosting effects I'd test it out before using it.

yea, its kinda cool, but I wonder if it is "airtight" as well. Those shoes would get pretty hot if they no longer breathe.

Kinda makes me chuckle, spend $20 to make a cardboard box into a cooler, when you could buy a styrafoam cooler for half that, and it would keep the beer cold much longer...

easy tree-huggers (styrafoam)....

Lol. Yeah the cardboard box thing was dumb but an innovative use for the spray. I wouldn't never do that but I guess at their expense cool to see.

I really wanted to make a dirty joke about this stuff but I'm coming up empty.

That's what she said.
