Well you should buy michelin ss tires. Why are you using the cheap goodyears on your car. Waste of a zl1

Those zl1 wheels are kinda heavy buy some forgelines geez.

The zl1 wheels are only like 2 pounds lighter then the repro s.

Sorry but if you think that more expensive always means better you are dumb.

Hey chicagobulls,

If I wanted to take my car to the race track every chance I could, then swapping out the Goodyears for Michelins might be a option. But I am not a Professional race car driver, so the Goodyears will suite me just fine. GM spent millions of dollars on research and development for the ZL1, and I am sure a good part of that went to suspension and tires.

My main point was to ask people why they spend so much money on a limited production car to put imitation wheels on it. Forgeline wheels are a great choice, and they look awesome as well, but that is the great thing about individuality, everybody likes different things. Liking different things is one thing, but disgracing an American classic is pathetic.

And as for more expensive meaning it is always better, typically this holds true. I doubt you will ever find a Ferrari selling for less than a Yugo. You get what you pay for. If you want some work done to your ZL1, are you gonna take it to the most reputable shop around that is well know, and has a great reputation, or Joe's Auto Shop??

Polished Wheels for sale?

Please send me information on what you would be interested in selling your polished wheels for.
My car has 700 miles on her, she's silver and I like the polished better on silver.
