Congrats on the resolution - I bet the wash bay guys have something in the trash as soon as the inspection on your car was done.

No idea.

I am sure since the dealership is replacing them, I will never see the old ones again.

Surprised to see a dealer replace something that's not their fault as it's sadly normal on these cars.

I use nothing but soap and water and hand wash my wheels. I never used any kind of cleaners and my calipers look worse than that. If you read the detail section of the forums you'll see that this is a common issue even for those that strictly hand wash their wheels. Give it a year and your new ones will look just like that too.

No doubt about that! A working caliper is a good one. Nothing a good painting wont fix. Dont like the dull silver look anyhoo.

Man...you should've asked if he could've got you the 1LE calipers and you pay the difference. Shouldn't be all that much. The red calipers look a heck of a lot better.

Actually, you might still give it a try. Go take a look at the 1LE calipers and then call them on Monday. Tell him you would really like to upgrade to the 1LE for the hassle. Offer to pay the difference in price if he says anything.
