To prevent oil ingestion (aka oil blow by) from going in to the upper half of the engine which absolutely does nothing but make a mess and possibly gunk up the top part of the pistons along with nasty oily deposits on the valves.

Its just like boiling water to purify it. The oil vapor from the crank case is sucked through the CC, the oil falls out of suspension from the vapor, collects in the can, the clean air is drawn back into the intake.

I ordered a can from Kris and I'm making sure I do everything right.
Thank you sir, the instructions are great best to follow them so there is no confusion.

Ted, is this cc considered a single valve or double? Also is one better than the other for the ZL1?

Ted.
A few questions:
Where do the two oil lines coming out of the top of the can connect to on the engine?
Are these lines connecting to the engine replacing existing lines?
Does turning the ball valve on the bottom completely drain the can and how often should it be drained?
Will these be available in black?
Thanks for the help.

I like this catch can a lot. I found a test video from Moroso with a clear version installed on a CTS-V so you can actually see how it works. Pretty cool. Is the new price listed on your website?

There is a short U shaped corrugated line that gets removed and the 2 lines from the catch can attach to the nipples.
