I was going to remove the rear bowtie but I have two holes on the deck lid that would need to be filled. I think the 2010's have that.

That is true. I have thought about that black bar or whatever it's called. I'm torn on it.

Me too! I have my bow tie painted of course, but I really like the other look too.. I'm thinking about giving it a try and seeing if i like it or if it grows on me.. If not, can always change it back

I was thinking the same thing. Apparently they sell magnetic ones. So that makes it easy if you don't like it.

So did the 2011 have the holes behind the rear bowtie? I've been pondering removing mine, but the holes have been holding me back.

I took off my rear bowtie & wanted to leave it plain, but it had the holes so I covered them up with the Sparks SS.
I like the Sparks SS, so I'm glad it had the holes!

The only cars with holes are 2010 models with build dates of May 2010 or earlier.

OP, looks great with the lettering removed. I took mine off within a week or so of having the car. Now I have one set across the trunk lid and the other in front of the passenger seat on the dash.

Thank you...and I like the idea of the lettering across the dash. What did you use for glue?
