I took my 2012 Camaro 1SS/RS LS3 to Premier Performance in West Jordan UT today. My Camaro is bone stock with 2534 miles on it. West Jordan UT sits at 4330 feet above sea level.

Does this look about right?

I have Kooks 1 7/8" long tube headers and high flow cats, a CAI intake, and NPP exhaust.
First pull on factory tune was 406rwhp and 392rwtq
After Ryne did all his tuning it put down 433rwhp and 415rwtq. (This was in 101 degree heat by the way)
AMAZING tune by the guys at CMS.

Here is the Dyno Sheet.

And here's the video I recorded with my iPhone 5 (so the audio isn't that great)
Watch in 1080p

Here's my first time results from a dyno at a school here in town. Not sure what they should be or what gear I should have been in, It was kinda of a learning curve for us both. But it's 2010 ss 6 man in 4th gear, all stock. Some say I should have been in 3rd?

Finally got my car on the dyno and tuned!

MY 2012 RS/SS

408hp on a Mustang dyno.

2" Texas Speed Long Tubes is literally the only mod. Stock air filter, even. I'm pretty happy with these results.

Tuned by Ronnie @ RS Motors.

before and after I swapped intakes.(better run was after the intake swap obviously)
mods: TSP 1 7/8 longtube and 3in x pipe combo through stock mufflers, New era OTR intake, ID850 injectors, full flex fuel conversion. I typically run e85 all the time but I had just gotten back from a road trip and had straight 92 octane gas in it at the time. I honestly was not expecting this large of an improvement considering the first run (lower of the two) was on e85 and this last was on 92.

2010 SS tuned for AZ shitty 91 octane: (115 degrees out)

CAI cai
SP long tubes
Night Fury Cam (supposedly)
Maganflow Axle back

I say supposedly because the car dyno'd significantly lower than any other car out there, on 93 and 91. Need to pull cam one day and check the grind number on the back.

Your set-up with STs is making right about the same as other cars with LTs and similar mods...lol!! Maybe ST headers DO make good power after all. Honestly, I have not seen any proof that they don't. Great numbers!!

I don't know man. Were the other cars dynoed on a 115 degree day with 91 octane in the tank? And why does the dyno sheet say it was only 91 degrees out? If it was 115 degrees, then those are not ideal conditions at all.

August day in AZ. Ill guarantee it was at least 115 out. The dyno was pretty deep inside the building. Its possible it wasnt 115 in there. The guy that tuned it is VERY respected around here so I know its not tune related. When I lived in TX on 93, the car only did 457whp. Not that worried about the numbers, just surprised more than anything.

Hmm, well I hope you get it straightened out. It looks like your tq is way down as well. Weather and available octane does seem to have a significant effect. Luckily up here in the north east we get 93 octane and high 90s to low 100s max in the middle of Summer...but only about once every couple years, lol!! Will you get it tuned again? Why didn't you check the grind number when you got the cam? It also never hurts to take a micrometer to a cam to check the specs.
