I am in the same boat. I spent a ton and tried to get 295 PSS to fit but could not without camber plates. So back they went and had to get 285's since CP's were not in the budget. I had already spent too much damn money. But, ya know, you can not take it with you. Maybe next year.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

The more the merrier. The only way the practice the line without being on the track is to watch videos of others on track. I am sure you have a few with some really good drivers you could share with us.

Find Your Line at Gingerman

John Buttermore has the best line and is roboticly precise in hitting it. In the Mustang Camaro shoot out for Hot Rod John ran 30 hot laps in each car, if my memory is correct. The difference in the Mustang between his fastest and slowest lap was 1/100th of a second. He was terrible in the Camaro with a full 1/10th of a second difference.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT ANYONE OR ANYTHING BUT WHAT THE INSTRUCTOR TELLS YOU. learn your your abilities, the track lines, braking points, etc. SMOOTH IS FAST.
THIS!

You will be among friends, jroc! Nobody's getting in anyone's way.

Very excited here... and, not gonna lie, slightly nervous. Looks like tons of fun. Need pick up a gopro beforehand.

Staying at the Comfort Inn. Hopefully I'll have some fellow C5 members in the far reaches of the parking lot with me hiding from door dings

Long Course = Higher Speeds on the Back Straight

Higher Speeds on the Back Straight = Harder Braking and Higher Brake Temps

Check your rotors, pads and fluid.
