That's not good! Sounds like a break from bowling might be in order til you get all healed up!

I shot 606 last night. WITH a 220 in the final game.

I fouled too. I've fouled 3 times in the last 3 weeks. The first three times I have EVER in my life fouled.

But it's because I"m having to stand closer to not take a long lunge to slide.

Yeah a different approach will always mess you up...along with busting your ass lol

I was bowling the Teen Masters national tournament in Vegas a few years back... after the first 3 games on the long pattern I was sitting in 12th place out of 100+, went to the other side of the house (where afterwards I saw easy slide all over the table) and on the first ball I slipped, fouled, and busted my ass I never got comfortable again and ended up going -ALOT and missed the cut.

I was right there with you Randy...they were so damn dry I was throwing urethane. Ridiculous.

183, 213, 225 = 621 and my averaged dropped 2 pins down to 214. ugh.

I'm happy to keep a 205 average. And that's trying. It's actually UP from the 190s for the past 8 years or so. I've never really got back to what I was in the early 1990s

Had a good night on Thursday. First, we bowled well as a team all around and took 27/35 points from the opposing team. (With one bowler loosing all 5 of her points) They were in 3rd and we were in 5th so that should put us up a lot closer to the top.

I threw the ball very well the first game but a split in the middle of the game killed me. Either way, I recovered well and went on to shoot 700.

210-255-256 = 721

didnt know there was Bowling thread. Ive been bowling almost all my life. Averaging 215 now, ive bowled 8 300 games and high series of 805. My brother bowls too, he crushed my high this past year with 847. Hopefully fall will be good to me this coming year. I dont bowl during summer, all the houses around here seem to love humidity, and as much as i love sticking during my slide, i choose not to.

Welcome!

I'm at 218 now myself and have 1 800 series (811) that I bowled during damn prebowl so I have nothing to show for it!

Got a nice surprise in the mail yesterday. . I received a check from the Va Men's State Bowling Tournament !! I placed 135th out of 1996 entries in Singles . That's pretty good for bone dry 4pm shift lanes ! State only oils the lanes at the 8am shift. . Anyway I'm pretty happy with it .

Disclaimer: When I strike every ball in practice except for shooting the 10 pin I know something is up

226-217-205=648 last night

Its a peterson point league and I won my first game by 52 pins against the guy...(he averages 160 something and has 30+ pins handicap).

He ends up shooting low 200s his last two games and beats me those games and total so I only took one point.

Oh well team took 26/35 points and we should make a move closer to first...its a real close ball game up top right now...top 5 teams are within 30 points of first and before last night we were in 4th 17 points out of 1st.

Lanes 1&2 tonight...per usual lane one hooking like crazy and lane 2 was not.

So I threw a Storm Paradigm Passion on lane 1 and a Ebonite Playmaker on lane 2 all night.

Shot 637 so my average will drop a pin probably...but I am happy with averaging 212 on lanes 1&2

I had 2083 (690 team, 692 doubles, 701 singles) to finish 56th in allevents, 1297 in doubles for 136th, 3189 in team for 167th and the singles score was good for 317th.
