Ill tell you a good cam to use for good all around power that will make right at 460 and will make good power up to about 6700. The LPE GT1 cam. Easy to tune, easy on valvetrain, as a matter of fact, with only 560's lift, it can be ran with stock springs. Id recommend 918s, but the stock springs are good for .570.

Leaning Towards the Brian Tooley Plat Springs--Already have the ARP Bolts, 3 bolt cam car, ls2 dampner, GM Gaskets, and melling oil pump.. Also will pick up a c5r chain. Not sure if I am going to do the rocker arm upgrade. Some say it is needed some say it isn't.

What I like about TSP is they test there stuff on a engine dyno. A few of the guys I know run there stuff. Cant Deny the Night Fury's results, and that 545 cam doesnt get the press like the others, but looking at it and the results seem solid.
What are the full specs on these cams? As in duration, lift, and LSA? I feel like I'm looking for the same thing, a big torque cam that has nice street manners.

Well I couldn't decide so I let my wife pick and order one for my birthday. Stay tuned for which one she picked. If I can I will snap a photo of her with it.

I'm stoked to see someone throw a PCMofNC cam in. I've seen them say before that they approach things differently. I'm curious to see some more data.

If you're trying to decide between 2 of their off-the-shelf cams... call them and tell them exactly what you're looking for. They do that too for the same price I think.

I had my Wife pick between the Night Fury, the 545 cam, Tick Performance Polluter cam, and the TSP 235/239 .639"/623. All good picks just curious what she picked.

Ok I ordered my BTR plat springs with the steel retainers, BTR PushRods, Comp Trunnion Upgrade all from BTR, I ordered My c5r chain from Tick Performance. Last thing I need to get is the tool to install the valve springs and the Trunnion Upgrade.

Well I got everything in today. I had oil pressure for about 10 seconds then it went to Zero. I used the black o ring from Melling which looking back at it might of been the wrong choice. I tried the Green one but it wouldn't seat properly. Any advice would be great.

I called Melling direct and talked with Renee , nice guy he told me I used the correct oring. He is sending me out 2 to me for free. Seems I pinched it, had pressure for a little then went out under the hood and did a check and went back in the car and the gauge said 0.

Well put the new oring in, still no Pressure. Since I am now a Pro and install of these pumps--- Well at least the steps to get them in and out I am gonna toss in the stock pump tomorrow and see if I get pressure and send the melling one back.

Same thing happened to Foster SS, did you use a little oil on the ring?

I bet it's pinched some how.
