Only Modern GM car to run 2013 Pikes Peak Hill Climb was a Camaro

Jared Voight was trying to beat the famed mountain run but it turns out he had to fight Momma Nature as well. He ran shortly after Sebastian Loeb shattered the record (SEE THIS AMAZING VIDEO!!! ). Jared was quoted in Autoblog "Jerad Voight in the No. 77 Chevrolet Camaro SS RS who came 12th in class, 108th overall, said it was raining up to the Ws, a set of switchbacks that begins seven miles into the race, then it was fog so bad he couldn't see more than 60 feet, "After the fog it was snow, Devil's playground was hail, just past that it was rain and then heavy winds on the last section – I could feel it shaking the car." When we asked what was the weather report he was given at the start line, he laughed and told us, "They said there was a sprinkle at Engineer's Corner." If you watch Loeb's run you can see the bad weather forming. Timing is everything. edit ***fixed link to Loeb video***

Go here to GM Authority (where I copied the title from) and read more about this years run and see great pictures of his Camaro.
