Nice Job Dude! That stuff is amazing. And a Big Job Too! That took ya a few hours, probably just as much time taping off as it did to paint. Be interesting to see how it holds up. I'm pulling off my wheels for another install so I may do them matte black, they're already black, but the Plasti dip would really protect them in the long run. I figure a can per Wheel so like under $25 for all four. Since I'm pulling them off anyway, why not! Keep us posted on how it last against the elements.

That is step 2. I have a gallon of black for T3 strips and 6 cans of black for back bowtie, tail bezels, and gill stripes.

I took off the stripes and gill decals and goof offed the sticky stuff. Then i washed with 2 in 1 soap and wax (not really wax just makes it shine more than just normal soap). Started washing the car around 11:30 and finished taking tape and excess dip off around 5:00. Other than that, tape the windows, wheels, headlights and grille, rear diffuser, take off the license plate, and good to go.

Some black accents on the back, next is the bowtie. Word of advice to anyone that may dip their Camaro, TAKE OFF THE TAIL LIGHT BEZELS. If you don't and for some reason you want to take them off or the rear lights out, you will have to exacto-knife it and it may roll up a bit :/

Nope when you peel it off its just like vinyl, no damage at all. And if you put enough on it will come off easy. If you don't, however, it is a royal PITA...

yeah it definitely is....but on dipyourcar.com they recently came out with a dip remover for that exact situation...it comes in like a windex bottle and you just soak the area that you want the dip removed in the solution and after about 10 minutes you can just wash it off with water and it doesnt hurt the paint at all....

Looks good but I would do the area between the taillights and the bowtie also.

I've been considering doing this exact same thing to my car for quite awhile, well, exact same color, with some different accents and such. Cool to see it on an actual camaro now. Looks nice!
