Time for a quick update and this is good news (not like the bad news from trying to install my headers) anyways...

This past Saturday I decided to go to the 1/4 mile track and do some runs before I installed my headers that way I could see what gains the headers give me. Made a total of 13 passes. The DA was kinda bad about 2000. My two fastest runs of the day were a 14.1158@97.45 when correcting for the D.A ends up being 13.844@99.404. This was the very first run on the track for the day and I had a 60ft of 2.079 which is my best yet (had zero wheel spin), as time progressed my 60ft got worse but that could very well be me (def need to get some trailing arms). My next fastest time was a 14.1592@98 which corrects to 13.848@100.255. I am pretty happy that I was able to break into the 13s and break the 100MPH mark(although not physically). I've attached two pics of my fastest times at the track and I brought my friend along so he could record some videos and I've attached the video of the 14.1158@97.45 run. BTW I'm car 6C

Huge update today!!!! After months of having my BBK LT headers with HFCs sitting in my garage I finally installed them myself. The first time I tried to install them I ran into some problems and quickly gave up but a few weeks later I was determined to get them done before fest and boom they are done! It took me two days spanning 19hrs with me taking my time, running out to a hardware store inbetween to get a few things (heat gun, monkey wrench to remove the O2 sensors from the stock set-up), lunch breaks and a shit ton of problems. I won't go into every single problem I ran into cause I'm sure no one cares about that haha. Big shout out to my friend who helped me def wouldn't of been able to do it and another shout out to member Lil'Nasty and member Wuiquen for giving me some advice as I went about this install. The gains are really noticeable once you get on it and I won't lie it is LOUD. I am def gonna have to get a res x-pipe at some point after fest. Also with the added power if I floor it at a dead stop I spin the tires and chirp them all the time when the car shifts into 2nd gear so I am also def gonna have to get some trailing arms. But overall I love them it is an amazing feeling knowing I did the work myself (with some help) instead of having a shop do it and it sound down right mean! Here are some pics and some crappy vids I need a new vid camera too lol.

Stock:

BBK

Top is stock bottom is BBK

And of course my work space haha

And now for some vids....all the vids have their own titles so no need for me to explain each.

I'll have to get some better videos up.

Congrats man! Great job. I also try to work on my car as much as I can without bringing it to the body shop. I don't know if I would try to install headers myself yet, so

Thanks! In all honesty it is pretty straight forward...remove some bolts switch out parts replace bolts it just takes awhile since some of the bolts are hard to reach and they literally turn 1 click at a time...not to mention when that happens and you are under the car your arm gets very very tired. I was hella nervous at first too especially when I attempted it the first time but the second time I kept telling myself you can do it and it worked haha.

Ha lol. It is a pretty straight forward install just a pain to reach some bolts and doesn't help when Murphy's Law works against you at every turn. Despite all the sweat, blood and curse words when I look back at it I really enjoyed installing them. Plus it sounds amazing! I decided I prob won't need the res x-pipe, atleast not right now, I love the way it sounds. People can't believe my 6 sounds like an 8 and I think that is an awesome comment!

Thanks! No dyno yet however on my way down to C5fest our camarovan is stopping at RDP and gonna get a pull there. May also try to sign up for the pulls at C5fest so I will def see how much power I put down. Pretty much have every bolt on, just wish I took a before dyno so I won't be as disappointed lol. Would like to see atleast 280rwhp, I think that is reasonable?

I think that is....You already have an awesome track (best) time Without the headers....now that you have the headers, cant wait to see your new times That being said (like my dad told me) dont be dissapointed by your dyno #'s, the track times are where it matters
