No!! I've had very good luck matching most colors but that one has been a pain in the butt, I've not made any progress since the ones I tried for you.

Just got these last night and they are perfect! The color matches well with the other painted conponents under the hood. Thanks George!

Glad they matched, it's the first set in that color so I was unsure of how they would match. Thanks.

Had a chance to get caught up on some machine work, including strut cover. Have them in stock ready to finish with your color choice. Also did some more coil mounts and shifters.

Looks good. Hope the extra taper gets me the clearence I need. Will the edges smooth down slightly with polishing? Thanks so much for extra effort and my offer stands if you ever change your mind. It's just my little contribution in the camaro community.

They are just roughed out as is, once I thread them and make a few final measurements I can finish them off radius the edges and polish them.

Thanks again for the offer.

Hi Steve.

Here are the covers, just need to polish them. You can see in the photo we picked up a solid 1/8 clearance. I think this should do it.

Hey George; Recieved the new modified Strut tower covers and they definitly have more clearance. This should be enough to take care of the hood clearance issue. Will drive for a while and let you know for sure. Thanks again.
