Do you know how much money it would cost CA to have online ordering developed? More than they took in 7500 worth of plates that's for sure....

There's three styles and one has to hit 7500. There will be a lot more then 7500 ordered. Think about the man hours that have to be put into sorting mail plus government benefits on top of those jobs. It could of been as simple as adding the three options as ore orders to current online ordering system of license plates. It would of been completed sooner and more people would order online, because a lot of people are to lazy to mail a check or don't trust USPS "I don't blame them. They lost a lot of my mail.".

Really? Cause all they would have to do is add it as an option right there with all the other custom plates that are available for online ordering.

This is a group buy I have little faith in. I just went with the current whities for my personalized plates.

Why? It's only been 7 months and we're halfway. We have another year and a half to get the last half.

Hmmm I was wondering about that. Well we should still be able to make that by the deadline.

I hope so. I sent my order in January and if it doesn't go through, I have a feeling they won't refund for a long time.

California Legacy Licence Plates.....

I was just checking the DMV site and we only need 333 more car owners. They don't have to be Camaros, ANY car would look great with these new ole school plates. The Classic Legacy plates site is; http://www.dmv.ca.gov/legacyplates/index.htm

Check it out, to get the correct period Ca plate for your ride is only 50 bucks. Please spread the word to any clubs.

THANX,
CPO BOATS....OUT

looks like it would still just be the $50...

Q2: Does the application fee of $50 apply to either a sequential or a personalized license plate?
A: Yes. The fee is the same for either choice of plate configuration.

Here's an update on the numbers..

Gold letters on black seems to have crossed the threshold here in CA. These are going to look great on my 2012 Transformers Edition. 9-12 months before we receive 'em.

So if I already have personalized plates, can I just get the same personalized plate in the black and yellow?

EDIT: nevermind, I looked it up on the FAQ, it's a yes.
