I really wish I could just hang out with you guys!!! There's no way to explain how much this car means to me. Part of my daily "waking up ritual" is driving this car in the morning. Who needs caffeine?

Hearing the dual mode exhaust with the top dropped must be pure bliss!

Loving our 2012 2LT/RS so far. Just broke a 1,000 miles. The V6 has enough pep for me and even though it's an automatic the steering wheel paddle shifting is pretty Bad-Ass!! And the HUD - Awesome!!!!

Well, we have had our Camaro 5 weeks now, pulled off the lot with 67 miles on the odometer & we're now over 3,500 miles. No complaints, no issues. Pure enjoyment no doubt! This is the first car I've ever got in just to go for a drive with no destination!

nice looking verts. i am looking at new 14 coupe and verts, maybe a new 13 on the lot. question. while the stripes look really cool, are they practical in the long run. i keep my cars over 150K miles. specfically, after time, dont the stripes start to chip at the ends, what about rock ships, . what about waxing, getting wax. seems like is more maintince for the stripes, they look great, but are they a headache. they fade after time? black seems to be the color.; i am more focused on the v6 for gas mileage. thanks

Time will tell on the stripes. I have seen a fair number of late 60's early 70's cars with original stripes that still look good.

The MPG is not dramatically different. I would highly recommend the SS for the added hp.

They will definitley fade over time, I would think they would be as chip resistant as paint if not more so. You are supposed to use a special wax/polish with matte stripes, but I have gloss stripes that you can use normal wax on.

I wouldn't worry about durability though. If they look bad after a few years you can get new ones relatively cheap, or just take them off and leave them off.

Finally got the chance to take her out for a decent drive (about six hours out and six back). Love the hp. Plenty of passing opportunities on two lane roads with 75 mph speed limit. Doesn't take long to pull around and back in.

Top went down when the sun went down. Even though still 93F, 80 mph provides good cooling.

Great car.

chad. i see you have the RS and summer tires. you live in oklahoma. i am in kansas city. will you be driving it in the ? i am looking at new coupe and verts, but dont want RS as i want all season tires, and the 19 are all season and same size to rotate them. a few verts left up here, 2013 new that dont have RS package, so may end up ordering a 2014. i like the look of 20, but those tires/replacements are expensive, and i dont want to spend 30K on a new car and in 2 months have to buy winter tires

do any of you folks have mud flaps/flares? i am considering for rock chips. 2013 calls them flares, the 2014 are just flat black mud flaps.

I installed the black flares on a BRM. The BRM is so dark, black vs. BRM flares is really not noticeable at all.

Like the flares.

Bought them for half dealer price on line (gmpartsdirect or similar).

I loved my 2LT/RS, and I thought I was ok with it... but I can honestly say, I am 100% in love with this my 2SS/RS Vert!

Being in Texas, I like the beige top. Had to order to get it, though.

I turn the radio off just hear the rumble. No cats, headers, and an exhaust switch! Got wood the whole time riding!

I was down by the Mississippi river this evening, wrapping up a shoot, as I was putting my gear into the trunk, a crowd of people began gathering around my car. They cheered as I put my top down and drove away. It was like seven guys. But still. This car is so amazing!

Heat has broken in Texas. The last couple of weeks have been great for top down driving.

Great stress reliever.

May go up and drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, then through the Great Smokies in a couple of weeks. Foliage should be great. Perfect cruising for the vert.
